Friday, October 30 — closed. Sorry! I am a bit under the weather.

Friday, November 6 — we're pleased to host a dual-launch party from 6p to 8p.

We'll be celebrating Dear Elena by Grace Personett and "The Spark of Brindle Brackenhue" by Linnae Klutchko, featured in the Ember & Vine Fiction Anthology:

  • "The Spark" — An introverted witch named Brindle owns a bookshop but it’s in the red! And her rival, Vashti, keeps scaring potential customers away. Brindle must embrace her creative magic that she’s tried so hard to do without if she wants to save her beloved shop.
  • Dear Elena is a YA romance-mystery novel that follows Lydia — the new girl at a prestigious boarding school whose only wish is to go unnoticed and make it out alive — and Atlas, the heartthrob who disappeared from school for a year and has just made an unexpected return. While their paths should have never crossed, Atlas and Lydia find themselves in an unexpected club of two as they desperately try to escape the watchful eyes of their peers. As the secrets unfold, these two might just have more in common than they initially thought. Dear Elena is full of high-stakes drama, swoon-worthy romance, and a little bit of murder.

Linnae Klutchko is an editor by day and a fantasy writer by night. She’s the managing editor at Our Daily Bread Publishing and freelance edits fantasy on the side. She wrote a serialized middle grade fantasy story for Hudsonville Living Magazine and is now working on finding a publishing home for her debut novel, a YA fantasy book called Flight.
