The TL:DR — we're closed until May 18 because Jason is out of town attending to a medical certification course.
Picture it: May, 2018. Jason had just left his day job in the healthcare industry and chose to celebrate by jaunting off to the wilds of Quebec to participate in a Wilderness First Responder program.
Fast forward to 2021: Recertification denied, because Covid.
An opportunity to take the WFR course again recently appeared. In Allendale, of all places. So Jason's at GVSU taking the class and as such, the bookstore is closed for the week.
On the bright side: If you ever feel the need to have a medical emergency in public, Jason's Books & Coffee is your optimal destination.
