Independent Bookstore Day, that is – the annual festival of independent bookstores. To celebrate, we'll be open for an unprecedented 12 hours straight. Yes, friends, from 9 in the a.m. to 9 in the p.m., we'll be here to help connect you to your next favorite read. This Saturday only, April 25, A.D. MMXXVI.
Plus free brewed coffee and cookies all day long!
We're also participating in the Michigan Book Hop, a month-long celebration of reading and the indie literary scene. If you're using your bingo card, we're ready to stamp you for:
- Bookstore event (Independent Bookstore Day) on April 25 or if you attend one of our Wednesday-evening activities.
- We have a cafe! Get some coffee, for here or to-go.
- I'll recommend books for you.
- We stock local authors!
- And we offer crafts on sale from local authors!
- We sell book-themed gift items.
- We're eminiently taggable, and feel free to follow us on socials.

Other Exciting News
The swap to the Basil POS platform, and corresponding inventory updates, will occur in May. Contracts are being contracted! We'll take May and June to process All the Things™ and then, starting in July ... NEW HOURS.
Can't announce them yet, because some affected stakeholders haven't been notified, but we'll increase our hours, add evenings hours, and accommodate consistent weekend hours. Stay tuned!
